Violence at work
Workplace violence is defined as workplace violence when employees suffer abuse, threats or attacks in circumstances related to their work that implicitly or explicitly endanger their safety, well-being or health (physical and/or psychological). It includes both physical violence (physical aggression on the worker or causing damage to property belonging to the organization or staff) and psychological violence (intimidation, threats, psychological violence behavior likely to cause psychological and moral damage, etc.).
It is therefore considered that three of the main groups affected by this type of violence are foreigners (usually illegal), young people who find themselves in a precarious situation and women, due to the inequalities in both wages and the roles they mostly play.
